About Us

The K-9 Obedience Club of Jacksonville, Inc. was founded in 1951 as a non-profit organization. Our main purpose is to provide a place for dog enthusiasts to train their dogs in obedience and to help others to do so.

In order to further our goals and objectives we offer training, lessons, seminars, and informational programs at our monthly club meetings, as well as a beautiful and safe area in which to train.

K-9 holds four AKC licensed Obedience Trials a year at our Jacksonville, FL Training Center.

UKC Trials are held by First Coast Dog Obedience Club at our site in the Fall and the Spring as well as numerous Fun Matches.

Our Match Committee, the Jacksonville Dog Festival Inc., also holds several Fun Matches, Obedience and Conformation, at our facility several times per year.
